Technical Writing

As part of the technical writing course on technical editing, I collaborated with Anastasia Douglas and Devin Petersen to produce a style guide for Stone Skull Studios, a tabletop gaming company. My portion of the style guide was "use of numbers" and "commonly misspelled and misused words". I had a lot of fun creating examples of the grammatical rules appropriate for the tabletop gaming audience.

As part of the technical writing course on writing grant proposals, I collaborated with Bethany Rasmussen and Eydie Dorko to produce a grant proposal for the Ogden Nature Center as part of their Volunteer Appreciation Initiative.

Document Design

As part of my technical writing internship, I worked with David Lee, the Principal at Foothill Elementary School to design a document set promoting an annual kindergarten "getting to know you" event for students and parents. The theme of the the event was based on the Eric Carle book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This is the poster that I designed for the event.

As part of the technical writing course on document design, I collaborated with Anastasia Douglas and Sami Wiser to produce a document set for Stone Skull Studios, a tabletop gaming company. Two of the documents I designed were a web teaser for an upcoming game release and a note of thanks to be sent to participants in a Kickstarter campaign.
